Doors: Openings to Spiritual Reflection
Senior Lunch, May 21 at 11 am
“Doors: Openings to Spiritual Reflection” is a reflection on the image of doors used in Scripture to open our hearts and minds to the presence of God. The most notable image is Revelation 3:20 in which Jesus says “I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”
With his collection of over 200 photographs of doors, Rev. Dr. Robert Tenglin will invite us to explore the images of doors as a way of being aware of the presence of God in our everyday life.
Program begins in the sanctuary at 11 am, followed by a hot catered lunch at noon ($10). RSVP by Sunday, May 19 or sign up in the Garden Court.

Led by Barbara Holman and Linda Smith
Spiritual direction is a ministry of listening, discernment and prayer in a confidential setting of encouragement and compassion. Through this ministry, one discerns the presence and work of God’s Spirit with a companion who sets aside the concerns of their own life to attend to the experience of God in the life of another. We have two Spiritual Directors available each month, to meet with people from our church family for a one hour session. As a gift to you, church will pay for your first session.
